Brent E. Mayes is passionate about helping people who have suffered because of the negligent and wrongful acts of others. Brent was born and raised in Derby, Kansas. His background in athletics provides him with a competitive spirit and a desire to win your case.
Brent received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas in 2011 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma School of Law in 2015. During law school, Brent was selected to clerk for Federal Judge Suzanne Mitchell in the Western District Court of Oklahoma. He also spent a summer learning from defense attorneys in a litigation firm in Oklahoma City. After those experiences Brent is well equipped to fight for injured people. Brent will fight for you, and help you achieve justice and get every dollar you deserve.
Brent grew up as the middle child of three boys and was learned the value of hard work from both of his parents. Brent's hard work provided him the opportunity to play college baseball and receive an education. Prior to attending law school Brent taught high school Biology for a year. As you can imagine nothing an insurance company does can scare you when you faced a bunch of High School biology students. All of these opportunities prepared him to be a trial attorney who fights for the rights of others.
Brent is licensed to practice law in Kansas and in Oklahoma before the Supreme Court. He is a member of the Kansas and Oklahoma Bar Association. He is also a member of the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association. He lives in Derby, Kansas.* Prior results in an earlier case do not guarantee or suggest a similar outcome in future matters the lawyer may undertake.
