Jason's Biography
Jason Roach is known for his dedication to individuals both inside and outside the courtroom. Over the course of his career, Jason has demonstrated his commitment to justice by trying over 40 cases before a jury and arguing numerous matters before district court judges.
Jason built a career by placing people first originally by serving the citizens of Sedgwick County representing indigent criminal defendants and then by prosecuting crimes impacting the community. For over eleven years Jason fought vigorously to protect the community as an Assistant District Attorney by seeking justice for victims of a wide range of offenses, including property crimes, domestic violence, sex crimes, crimes against children and homicides. Jason finished his career with Office of the District Attorney in Sedgwick County by leading the Consumer Protection Division for four years. Jason spearheaded efforts resulting in the return of millions of dollars to Sedgwick County consumers wronged under the Kansas Consumer Protection Act. Jason looks forward to continuing to serve injured clients without fear of insurance companies or the courtroom.
Jason's roots in this community run deep. Jason was born and raised in Wichita and graduated from Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School. He earned a Presidential Academic scholarship to attend The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., where he pursued a bachelor's degree in International Affairs with a focus on International Economics at GW's Elliott School of International Affairs. Following college, Jason ran two small businesses before embarking on his legal career and returning home to serve the community.
Jason graduated Cum Laude from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, where he distinguished himself as a member of the DePaul Law Review and earned the CALI award for excellence in Litigation Strategy: Civil.
Outside of work, Jason finds joy in cooking for his family, spending quality time with his wife Suzanne and son Colton. Suzanne and Jason enjoy taking leisurely walks with their dog Gamora who is named after the Marvel movie Guardians of the Galaxy. Despite living in Washington D.C., Tennessee and Chicago, Jason has remained a loyal Kansas City Chiefs fan. Jason supports the Child Advocacy Center of Sedgwick County which promotes the safety, health and well-being of abused children and their caregivers.
Jason is licensed to practice law in the State of Kansas and the United States District Court for the District of Kansas. Jason is a former member of the National District Attorney Association, Kansas County and District Attorney Association and the North American Consumer Protection Investigators. Jason is currently a member of the Wichita Bar Association and the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association.
