Ivan's Biography
Ivan Moya grew up in Garden City, Kansas, and is proud to now call Kansas City home as he serves clients across the Midwest. Ivan’s journey to the legal profession began at Washburn University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Mass Media. Driven by a desire to serve others, he moved to San Antonio after graduation to work with a food pantry through the Jesuit Volunteer Corps—an experience that solidified his passion for community advocacy
Ivan returned to Kansas to attend Washburn University School of Law. While in law school, Ivan excelled as a member of the Moot Court Council, refining the oral advocacy and litigation skills he now puts to work for his clients. Now at DeVaughn James Injury Lawyers, Ivan is dedicated to being a relentless voice for those who have been injured.
Outside of the office, you’ll find Ivan hosting board game nights, spending quality time with his family, or searching for the perfect cup of coffee.
