While having spent the first decade of his career as a defense attorney for one of the largest insurance defense firms in the Midwest, Taylor now devotes his trial practice exclusively to advocating for injury victims both in Missouri and Kansas and routinely tries cases to verdict in both states.
Taylor has been recognized by his peers for his trial results by being awarded a variety of accolades for trial accomplishments, including:
- Super Lawyers, Rising Stars, Missouri & Kansas (2018–2025)
- The National Trial Lawyers, Top 100 – Civil Plaintiff

In addition to trying cases to verdict, Taylor has appeared and argued before the Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District and the Kansas Court of Appeals, and he has also handled appeals in the United States Court of Appeals both for the 8th Circuit and 10th Circuit.
A Kansas City native, Taylor earned bachelor’s degrees in both Spanish and Criminology from Kansas State University, graduating summa cum laude, before attending the oldest law school in the United States, William & Mary Law School in Williamsburg, Virginia and graduating cum laude with his JD.
Outside of the courtroom, Taylor is a proud father of three children and a 3rd Degree member of his Knights of Columbus council at his parish, Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
